So I was feeling in that spendy type of mood recently,
and ended up (yet again) falling victim to The Body Shops allure.
The one thing that I think that The Body Shop does well is the constant availability of REALLY good offers, that are just too good to pass up on (or I keep telling myself).
This time the offer I used was the buy 2, get 2 free and I was running low on my favourite Vineyard Peach body butter so I thought I would stock up.
Only, to my dismay, as it's a seasonal scent it's not available anymore.
To console myself I bought these beauties.
Centre: Vitamin E Moisture Cream £11.00
Top: Satsuma Body Butter £13.00
Right: Glazed Apple Body Butter £13.00
Left: Frosted Cranberry Body Butter £13.00
So first things first (I'm the realest...)
So I was running out of the Vitamin E moisture cream that I got from my last haul and if I'm perfectly honest, up until maybe a couple of weeks ago, I was feeling a bit 'meh' about this product.
But then I found a way to make it work.
I tend to like thicker face creams on my face during the day, even though most people seem to like to use lighter things, but I grew up slathering Diprobase over my noggin so I NEED something substantial to feel moisturised.
This has quite a thin consistency, for my tastes but even when I used it alone my skin never was dry.
But then I watched a random youtube video, and someone said that they mixed their face cream with the Vitamin E Overnight Serum-In-Oil and then applied it, and a little light bulb went off in my head...and then I was in love.
The next two are the limited edition Christmas body butters that The Body Shop has released and even though they weren't what I originally planned on getting, I have no regrets!
They smell divine, especially the frosted cranberry though I tend to love anything and everything cranberry scented this time of year. I feel like sometime The Body Shop scnts can be a bit too artificial smelling
*cough* Raspberry and Strawberry Body Butters I'm looking at you*cough*
But I think these are just right.
The Frosted Cranberry is also slightly thicker in consistency, as hopefully was demonstrated by the pictures, so I think this would be a better choice for those with dry skin.
And lastly, the Satsuma scent is also a repurchase, I had got a free sample of this and whenever I wore this I got complimented on my lotion so this was a definite winner for me.
Anyway that's all folks, but before you go, tell me
What is your favourite body butter flavour?
