So instead of talking about how I've been on a 2 year blog hiatus, let's instead talk about how I'm not a student anymore! I graduated finally last year from uni and got into the dreaded world of work. And boy has it been a culture shock.
The long days (and nights at times), trying (and failing) to get the work/ life balance straight, and the politics of the workplace has definitely been a massive learning experience for me.
It has also been fantastic because I've actually had the freedom to spend without having to worry about when the next student loan instalment would be coming in and how close to the breadline I was.
I haven't gone (that) crazy with the spending, but I have increased the amount of online shopping browsing that I've done, so here are a few of the things that have caught my eye.
The Born This Way foundation became super popular among beauty enthusiasts and once they released the deeper skin ton shades of the foundation, I was soooo tempted to purchase it, but I literally have 7 unopened bottles of foundations in my collection '-_-
So I resisted, but once I heard about the concealer that lusting was REAL.
The beauty blender seems to be all the rage and I know I'm so 2000 and late on the bandwagon, but I'm on mission - step up my makeup game - so this may be an addition to the collection soon.
The most exciting thing on the list for me is the Tom Ford lipstick in Temptation waits.
The swatches make me swoon. It's the perfect easy summer wash of colour and I feel could be a MLBB shade. I just can't pluck up the courage to drop 40 squid on it just yet. Maybe as a birthday treat?
